We are constantly assaulted in our aural regions.

From fabulous noises - the sound of a lover reaching orgasm, the melodic craftings of Muse or the satifying thunk of a snooker ball finding the pocket - to downright unpleasant guff - like Westlife, the annoyingly fatuous waffle of Paul Morely or police sirens waking you up at night - we can't avoid it.

So, let us celebrate the more pleasant infiltrations into our ears!
